Today’s generation is becoming more environmentally conscious and shifting towards sustainable fashion. Unfortunately, synthetic dye being dominantly used as they produce bright color are cheap but hazardous to health compared natural chemical free, biodegradable eco-friendly. Role of has been increased preservation traditional heritage also one the important development goals which every country trying abide. Natural dyes considered for their endurance soft lustrous coloring. This research work focused on extraction by recycling floral waste from temples using different techniques Eco-printing cotton fabric. Marigold rose flowers were commonly in India worship. Pre-mordanting method was dyeing purposes, fabric first mordant then printing. Commercially available tea powder (5gram) source mordant. Further samples tested basis wash fastness rub properties. It found that exhibit good fastness.

Utilization of temple floral waste for extraction of valuable products: A close loop approach towards environmental sustainability and waste management
This study presents the natural dye recovery from various biodegradable temple and household wastes. The raw material for colour extraction consisted residual flowers and garlands from various temples as well as onion and vegetables peels from vegetable markets, university hostels, and households, which were washed, dried, crushed, and sieved. The extracted natural colours were produced by mean...
